I disagree but only in the case of universities.
That's because you can choose what you learn in universities at least in Japan.
Who in the world will choose the subject that will waste your time.
Of course, there're people for whom studying science is a waste of time, but
such people won't choose science in the first place.
I think science itself is essencial to people all over the world.
We cannot live each day without science.
However it depends on people about whether or not studing science is a wast of time.
Because subject worth learing is different from people to people.
So, I think it's more important to judge which subject is beneficial and which is not on the early stage.
